Harlem Summer Stage

On Thursday evenings in July, August and September enjoy an outstanding free public concert series featuring the best in R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Gospel, Dance, Reggae, Calypso, Blues and other forms of the cultures of the African diospra will be highlighted in historic and glorious fashions beginning on July 17th through September 11th on the Plaza of the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building on West 125th Street & A.C. Powell, Jr. Blvd.  Some of the outstanding performing artists will include:  Ray, Goodman & Brown, Blue Magic, The Persuaders, Gerald Alston, Colonel Abrams, Gospel for Teens, Uptown Dance Academy,  The Mighty Sparrow, Hezekiah Walker, Battle of the DJ’s, Impact Vibe

A Concert Series at four (4) of Harlem’s great family parks, featuring the best in R&B, Latin, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Oldies but Goodies, Gospel, Dance including: Tulile, The Chi-Lites, Slick Rick, Donald Lawrence and Big Daddy Kane, to name a few.

African American Day Parade
Sunday, September 21st   1:00PM

NYC’s largest parade honoring African, African American and Caribbean Americans’ glorious history heritage and cultural legacies with outstanding marching bands from across the country and beyond, floats, fraternities, sororities and family programs. This event attracts tens of thousands of Harlemites, New Yorkers and visitors from throughout the nation and internationally.
The parade route is on Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd.
from 111th to 142nd Streets.
