The Greater Harlem
Chamber of Commerce will host its 32nd Annual New York City
Economic Development Conference and Business Awards Luncheon on August
4th, 2011. Mayor Michael Bloomberg said that “Harlem is an
increasingly important and ever growing part of
New York City’s annual $35
billion tourism industry.” This event will feature key presentations
on the importance of health and how it impacts on doing business. In
addition, a number of students and educational programs from the
tri-state area will be presented scholarships, internships or grants
for their achievements in or commitment to education. With that in
mind, this pioneering business exchange has been the premier venue for
empowering and enhancing
Harlem’s economic wealth while reorganizing
those who have played significant roles in uptown’s successful growth.
