EVENT DESCRIPTION This event is the official announcement of HARLEM WEEK in the City of New York. Mayor Michael Bloomberg and The City of New York honors the “Harlem Healthy Eating And Living” with an awards salute and festive garden concert on the great lawn of Gracie Mansion, the official home of the Mayor, as well as pay tribute to HARLEM WEEK and The National Black Sports & Entertainment Hall of Fame Honorees
Annually, this celebratory affair includes Broadway performances, scholarship and educational grant presentations. This year, The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Bloomberg will honor HARLEM WEEK’s 35th Anniversary.
